Here it is folks. The Top 25 All-Around Wrestlers Of All-Time (I know I said 20 but that was proving impossible). The criteria is a mix of in ring ability, match quality, ring psychology, promo work and drawing power/crowd reaction. I have decided to exclude wrestlers who worked mainly in Japan as any promo work becomes irrelevant. Without further ado here we go. Special Mentions: Rey Mysterio Jr, Jerry Lawler, AJ Styles, Arn Anderson, Sting, Magnum TA. 25. Rick Rude (massively underrated) 24. Ted DiBiase (played the part to a T, great in ring) 23. HHH (solid to great at everything he does) 22. CM Punk (mic work is phenomenal, ring work is great) 21. Dynamite Kid (didnt draw but way,way ahead of his time) 20. Roddy Piper (promo master, drew superbly) 19. Mr Perfect (master technician, good all around skills) 18. Jake Roberts (the best promo man and ring psychologist ever) 17. Terry Funk (hes Terry Funk, all round legend) 16. Chris Jericho (hilarious, great technician, high quality matches) 15. Edge (probably the most underrated all round worker ever) 14. Dusty Rhodes (superb talker, intense feuds and matches, big draw) 13. Hulk Hogan (couldnt work for shit, he was the 1980s though) 12. John Cena (hate me if you must but his back catalogue of matches is superb and he is the biggest draw since Austin) 11. Ricky Steamboat (probably should have been a bigger star, masterful ring work) 10. Randy Savage (an all round powerhouse) 9. Mick Foley (putting on great matches meant more to him than his body, cracking promo man too) 8. Bret Hart (below par mic skills but an absolute ring master) 7. Kurt Angle (had his problems not got in the way he could have been the best ever) 6. Undertaker (would be higher if the beginning of his career wasnt so boring) 5. Eddie Guerrero (there was nothing he couldt do, pure entertainment) 4. The Rock (above average ring skills, great matches, unbelievable talker, huge draw) 3. Shawn Michaels (miraculously had a better second part of his career than first, as entertaining in ring as anyone ever) 2. Ric Flair (the very epitome of the full package, Flair made every feud he was in seem like the most important thing in the world, could draw money with anyone and was an absolute grandmaster in the ring) 1. Steve Austin (the biggest draw in wrestling history, ridiculously entertaining promo work, managed to master two completely different ring styles, great ring general, unbelievable back catalogue of matches and managed to get more of a pop from giving Steve Blackman a stunner than most wrestlers will get in a career, the best ever without question) Over to the rest of you.
