Heres the latest on my former wife Paula and her surgery. My daughter Stephanie Hodges Wages reports that the surgery was, it appears now, highly succesful in removing the mass attached to her kidney. Its called a oncoytosis neoplasm and was 15 pounds representing 10% of her body weight. There is no indication of cancer and if biopsy does reveal cancer but with no matastasis the surgeon will consider this curative surgery. Considering she may have carried this tumor for many years, and considering what the initial physicians said Maria showed, I call this miraculous. She is in ICU now and the biopsy report still has to come back, but all reports now are, and I trust will continue to be, encouraging. I thank each of you for your positive wishes, your prayers, and that grace of God Who heard and answered them!
