Hey, all. I just want to say, I sure do miss sitting down - TopicsExpress

Hey, all. I just want to say, I sure do miss sitting down regularly to read a book. My life has been so topsy-turvy that its near impossible for me to have that simple joy. And then to top it off, the Nook I was enjoying since Thanksgiving broke on me a while back. Im in the process of communication with B&N over it, but they keep shifting me around. It was something I could take with me even if I didnt have ALL of my books on it. I got a new tablet from Verizon and will be downloading the B&N Nook app on it soon. Hopefully that will temporarily solve that problem. Still have a bunch of paper books Id love to add to my Nook library though. I like having selections. It seemed for a while there the only time I was reading was when I was away from home because I had the Nook with me. I could catch a page or two here or there and not have to worry about messing up the paper or the book itself. So much Ive been going through and the URGENT prayer request is only the latest thing. Today (the 10th) I turn 38 (hold back the Happy Birthdays thanks) and quite frankly I just wonder if this is all life has to offer me. Just pain, misery, suffering, and strife. 38 straight years of it. Even when things seem to go good a whole shit load of bad occurs and makes it damn near impossible to recognize the good going on to have it increase. I wish you could only know the life Ive lead to get me to this point. I know Kris and I talked when I met him in Florida, but I cant remember how much was shared. I think it was mainly about my dad dying at the time since I was down there to take care of his things. Im sorry about writing a wall of text here, but I just sort of had to say something. Not even sure why I wrote all of that down as I really didnt say anything because theres just too much to say, and a good bit of the recent stuff I cant go into. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
