Hey guys if you can find the time today I would really encourage you to read through Romans in its entirety before we dive into chapter 1 tonight. It was written to be read in one sitting as a coherent idea, as were most of the books of the Bible. We can easily miss Pauls purpose studying simply the fragments of his thoughts and not at least having some idea of his overall intention for the reader. If we dont know the general trajectory of a book, our heading per se, we can easily end up in a thought process in which the author did not intend as we study it spaced apart from Monday to Monday. Could we ever build a house to its intended design by simply receiving it piece by piece without first viewing its blue print? We need to at least attempt to glimpse the surface tension of Pauls overall purpose before we try to understand it chapter by chapter. It will take you maybe 45 min, step up and I know God will bless your efforts! You will get a lot more out this study and be able to give a lot more as well. You are a unique beautifully sculpted display of the eternal Gods glory, and He has personally gifted you with a spark of Himself in the deep springs of your imagination set free in Christ to know the Truth! You can bring something to the table that no one else can. Allow God to use you in your design to benefit our community of brothers and sisters united in this gift. Pray that this amazing gift, the Holy Spirit Himself, will help us understand and enjoy God more through His Word! Be in prayer that He would expand all of our minds to greater understanding and expand all of our hearts to greater depths of love as His children through, under, and in the Blood of the Cross!
