Hi All, We are all excited to inform everyone that AAP Toronto Chapter is gearing up for the upcoming elections with amazing ideas and activities suggested by the volunteers & supporters. I would like to give out a brief summary of the activities that have been lined up for the upcoming weeks: Promotional Audio Clips & Videos- 30seconds- 1 minute videos of AAP supporters in Canada from different walks of life telling why are they connected to the movement and asking more people to join & support. Example- Taxi Drivers, Business-owners, IT Professionals, Truckers, Students, Female housemakers, Doctors & Lawyers. We made a test video yesterday, its too big to attach it to this email, you can an idea from this video: https://facebook/video.php?v=707219239393379&set=vb.304477473000893&type=2&theater Also, we request everybody to make and send us 1 minute videos showing why they support AAP and asking people to join the movement. These videos will be played on the AAP Canada page as well the main Aam Aadmi Page. Promote Adopt A Constituency Programme- Toronto has adopted Tilak Nagar Vidhan Sabha and we have to promote AAC within the community as quick as we can. To get things going, a radio interview with Jarnail Singh, AAP MLA from Tilak Nagar, was arranged on WTOR 770 am with host Charanjeet Brar Ji. The interview was very informative and got a positive response, calls were coming in aplenty. Pawan Sangwan Donating Rs. 2015 Everyday- One of our dedicated volunteers, Pawan Sangwan from Toronto will be donating Rs. 2015 everyday, starting January 15th 2015 till the elections. We will be making a short documentary on him to publicize his dedication and further motivate more supporters across the globe to donate and fund Honest Politics. Set up Call Centres- As we approach towards the elections, setting up call centers will be our major focus and we are collecting data sheets for that. AKs audio for Canada- To play on radio asking supporters living in Canada to support and call &ask their relatives in india to support AAP. Lawn Signs- We are working on getting Lawn Signs(about 100). The idea is to distribute them amongst the volunteers and put them at gurdwaras and other public places on weekends, as the city would take them away on weekdays if they are put at a public place. With all your enthusiasm and efforts towards this movement, CANADA is now the TOPMOST donor country outside of India, surpassing USA by over 6 Lakh Rupees. Lets keep the momentum going! We would also like to request everyone to send in their suggestions/ideas to make the whole campaign more progressive and productive. Please give as many ideas as you can and lead them with the help of fellow volunteers. We will soon be holding a meeting to kick off this campaign and discuss/distribute responsibilities regarding the same and would like to invite everyone who wants to contribute. Details of the meeting will be rolled out as soon as we finalize date, time & venue.
