Hi Everyone, I’m posting to tell you a bit about my latest film project. I am currently in pre-production of a new short film titled “Thank You.” It tells the story of a young man reflecting on a past brief encounter, and what it taught him about love. The film will combine beautiful imagery, poetic narrative voiceover and an original score, all encompassing the feeling of falling in love for the first time. This is a film born from my own personal experience, yet, at the same time, I feel that it is a film that everyone can relate to. We have all felt love at some point, and at the time we don’t always know why that person comes into our lives. But in time we learn the answer, and that is why making this film is so important to me. I’m currently studying at Emerson College’s campus in Los Angeles. It has been a very exciting professional experience, however, shooting in Los Angeles introduces its own set of challenges. But nothing is impossible. I’ve built a very talented and professional crew of collaborators who are aiding me in production of this film. Luckily, Emerson will be able to provide us with the proper equipment to execute this wonderful endeavor. Though we’ve been lucky to get both equipment and crew for free, we are looking for support to ensure the production runs smoothly. We are seeking donations for our production design and crew hospitality budget by April 1st. Our goal is $1,000, however, any amount is greatly appreciated. This money will be used towards both the look of the film and to ensure our crew is fed and happy. With your support, we will be able to make this film a reality and create a story so powerful, that you will transported into a magical world of innocence.
