Hi Facebook lovers! I have decided to uninstall the FaceyB app off my mobile. This may mean nothing to you, which I understand, but for a few of you that means you will not have instant communication with me. OH LORDY! :p Unless you text or call me. So if staying in touch with me is important and you dont have my number (like some of my uni buddies) PM me for my digits. Further info if youre one of those curious cats: - Im tired of having a constant connection with people, a connection I really can live without. I dont need to know whats going on in everyones lives every minute of the day. - Im tired of feeling the urge to check my phone to see whats happening on FB or if anyone has messaged me. - I have a sickening habit of carrying my phone everywhere and checking FB when Im watching a movie with my partner, going to lunch with friends, trying to study, out shopping. This is a habit I need to break. - It takes too much of my time. Time better spent on uni, staying healthy and spent with loved ones without distraction. - I hate that narcissistic feeling of checking to see if Ive been tagged at event along with everyone else, or racing to check if a photo of me is decent as soon as a notification pops up on my phone. - And lastly, I dont like the whispers I hear about the power Facebook may have when it comes to privacy, especially concerning access to mobile phones. So from now on, I will only be on facebook when I can be stuffed getting my laptop out in the evenings, and sometimes during uni if Im being naughty :p Love yas!
