Hi Sports fans and Friends, Ive been approached by the guys and girls of the Hangzhou Harlequins Rugby Union Football Club and some regular 5-a-side-Football/Soccer players about holding a mixed multi sports afternoon on Tue, 4 Feb, with a mostly social focus. I guess I am the defacto contact person for the Ultimate Frisbee and Running/Hashing groups... Sorry for the late notice on this page. Friends, or others keen to network with Hangzhous sporting community are welcome. Guys and Girls and Expats and Locals are all welcome. The social sports afternoon will include some 5-a-side-soccer/football, touch rugby, half court basketball and ultimate frisbee plus Im sure therell be some other fun activities too. You can try a bit of everything, or just sit on the sidelines and meet some new people and drink some beers. After the sports at 5 or 5.30pm well head to Maya Bar for a BBQ. At 7.30pm, those with some energy left can do the regular Tuesday night Maya Bar Even-If-It-Rains run/jog/walk. SPORTS Date: Tue, 4 Feb Time: 1 - 5pm Take: Sports gear and maybe a change of clothes if youre going to get right into it. Water and Beer or your drinks of choice. Meeting Place: the 5-a-side-Soccer/Football field on XiXi Road near Yugu Road I.e. next to the tennis courts near Vineyard BBQ Date: Tue, 4 Feb Time: 5.30pm to late Take: Bring your own (BYO) meat or veggie patties or whatever.
