Hi all. Please see attached file of players selected into this years Colts Nationals Sundevils squad. The squad has both an A and B squad. Those players in both squads are expected to attend all training. Depending on the number of coaches/managers that can travel will depend on the number of players that will be selected in the final travelling squad. That number will be between 32-34. I will discuss this more with all players on Saturday but we have 29 currently in the A squad. All players will still compete for a spot in the final team and just because you may be in the A squad doesnt mean your place is safe and if youre in the B squad it doesnt mean you wont break into the A squad. For some B squad players we may want to see a little more of you in action or we may want to try you at a different position to see how you go - its an opportunity for you to demonstrate that we need you in the team :) Training will be every Saturday starting at 3pm and finishing at 5:30pm at the Rhinos ground on corner of Samford Rd / Prospect Rd. If you cannot make training you need to call me on 0413 015187. We will discuss ramifications for players that dont attend training, forget their gear and all the other stuff that happens at club level on Saturday so all players need to be in attendance. Your coaches are taking this seriously and we want to emulate the Men and Women state team from 2014 and have a trifecta of national champs. Last Saturday was especially hot and I hope those players that suffered in the heat are OK and have recovered well. Thanks all
