#Hockey fans in caravans: an alternative #accomodation for #tourists in #Minsk. More hockey fans are continuing to arrive to #Belarus. While many prefer the comfort of hotels accomodation, some choose a more mobile option: caravans in #parking zones near the main sports arenas. The fans from #Slovakia organized a parking near Chizhovka-Arena. There are several similar caravan sites in Minsk. Special camping sites were organized at Stalins line and in #Dudutki. In contrast to usual parking lots, parking lots for caravanners are equiped with sockets, which provide electricity for the houses. A trip from Slovakia to Belarus in a #caravan would cost around 600 euro. Tourists admit that crossing the border does not take much time, and gives them opportunity to visit places of interest around the country. Though the Belarusian club of caravanners and motor tourists was created in 2010, the number of special motor camping sites are still few. Officials report that about 76 motor houses have entered Belarus since the beginning of the championship. They came from #Russia, #Poland, #Lithuania, #Czech Republic and #Slovakia.
