Homemade Meatloaf/Meatballs 200 grams Pork Mince half bag of Pork sausage meat 4 rashers smoked/unsmoked bacon diced 1 large white onion diced Chopped sage preferably fresh 1 teaspoon of Wholegrain mustard/or mustard of your choice. 1 table spoon of dry red wine (Optional) 1 ham stock cube Add all of the ingredients in any order and mix together in a large bowl. Using your hands to combine the mixture is easiest way to get a good mix.. Use a standard loaf tin and line it with grease proof paper. With your hands roll the mixture in to long roll and drop it into the tin. It should resemble a large sausage. Place on top shelf of gas oven and cook for 30 mins @ gas mark 4 If using a fan assisted oven - place the mixture on the bottom shelf of the oven and cook for 30 mins @ 180 degrees. If you want the outer coat of the meatloaf to be crispier add 10 mins cooking time to the above. Fan assisted ovens cook at a higher heat than gas ovens. If making meatballs use the same process above but use a flat tray and roll the mixture into balls instead. Cut the cooking time down to 15 mins at the same cooking temperatures as above. You can freeze this for up to 3 months.
