Hot off the press...Photos of the recipe winners from Wednesdays Lets Move Boise event! What an amazing learning experience for these students. They learned about how their favorite home recipes could be adjusted to meet school lunch by adding local foods, whole grains (pasta and rice), red/orange vegetables, and decreasing the sodium and saturated fat. They also read their essays and presented their dishes to the audience...public speaking in elementary school! They were awesome. Congratulations!!!!
