How many times I have heard restaurant owners or entrepreneurs proclaim that “if I only sold Vegan food or non-animal products I would have to close my doors, I would lose my business. So they are essentially legitimizing the kidnapping, terrorizing and murder of over a hundred and fifty billion animals a year globally, not to mention the direct effect of global warming and world hunger which they are directly participating in and cause of, just so they can keep their business open and profits rolling in. Through their actions they are holding true to that old adage of “might makes right” the belief structure that the human race is superior and that nonhuman animals are mere commodities, merchandise to be traded, used and slaughtered on the whims of the human species.
