How to take a (much better) selfie An early American pioneer, - TopicsExpress

How to take a (much better) selfie An early American pioneer, Robert Cornelius, produced a daguerreotype in 1839, the result was quite hazy but clear to discern: the selfie was born. The Grand Duchess Anastasia took a selfie in 1914 when she was 13 years old and sent it to a friend with the attached note, ‘I took this picture of myself looking at the mirror. It was very hard as my hands were trembling.’ Bradley Cooper took the most re-tweeted celebrity selfie ever at this years’ Oscar ceremony. Poor Roberts first selfie took ages, he uncovered the lens, ran into shot for a couple of minutes and then replace the lens cap, Anastasia’s took a while too as her hands trembled but taking a selfie nowadays is truly an instant process. The only problem is the rather unnatural angle of the resulting image, and, depending on how long your arms are, it can never be a whole body image of course. bit.ly/1elh3kH
