I admit it, I like messing with peoples heads, by saying things that are literally true, but that freak people out because of their own assumptions. Heres a fine example (which makes a great quote to take out of context): BLACK PEOPLE SHOULDNT VOTE! NEITHER SHOULD WOMEN! Now, it kind of messed up the offensive implication when I finish the thought: NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE! Voting is an attempt to appoint a coercive master over the people, which is inherently illegitimate and immoral (race, religion and nationality having nothing to do with it). But there is an added reason why minorities shouldnt vote: to legitimize DEMOCRACY--i.e., mob rule--when you are in the minority, is tactically pretty silly. (I seem to recall Thomas Sowell writing a great thing about this at one point, but I forget what it was called.) If a woman meets two rapists in a dark ally, why the hell would she agree to settle things democratically? Whip out a Glock, and tell the majority to get lost or die. Malcolm X (after he got over being a racist himself) sure got this one right: the blacks being assaulted and oppressed by agents of government (in slave days, during segregation, and today) had and have every right and every incentive to DEFEND themselves, by any means necessary. So no, black people shouldnt vote. But they should sure as hell ARM THEMSELVES against the state mercenaries who still want to treat them like property.
