I am Ganesh Bharadwaj and I graduated from Amrita University, Coimbatore from EEE, in the year 2010. I joined NTU, Singapore for my Masters in IC design in 2010 and was awarded the IC design Post Graduate Industrial Scholarship, which took care of my complete tuition fee and also provided me with a monthly stipend. Staying in NTU was awesome fun, with a lot of friends from all over the world. For my masters project I got the NMRC EDG grant offered by the National Medical Research Council. This grant was worth five million dollars. I got to work under Prof. Zheng Yuanjin in the Division of Circuits and Systems, School of EEE, Nanyang Technological University. After my research there, I moved on to the R and D division (called TD-NTP) of Global Foundries, Singapore where I currently work. Here my role is to study circuits, analyze them and figure out what might be the root cause of why this particular chip is failing. I also design test chips to solve future issues, and test out conditions that might arise and cause failures. Since we are a foundry, we provide foundry assistance to all the major semiconductor players. I have worked on a lot of chips. One of the chips, I have worked on went into Samsung S5 (which you might know). Other than this, I have had the privilege of co-writing a book chapter (Chapter Number 9) for Prof Zhi Yang called Neural Computation, Neural Devices, and Neural Prosthesis.
