I am announcing this here because I pretty much want to be left the hell alone for the forseeable future. As many of you know, I had a beautiful parrot called Twiglet. Twiglet has been in my life for 14 years and has remained the only constant thing in that whole time. Shes always been there, moved everywhere with me, driven me nuts and been stupidly cute. I could do anything with her. She used to help me do my school homework and college assignments by stealing my pens and crapping on my work books. She never did learn to talk but mastered the art of alarm clock, bread machine and do a perfect nokia text message. She made perfect kissing noises when she wanted a cuddle. Her favourite thing was to sit in bed with me under the duvet and cuddle and her favourite food was raw chillies. Many of you know and love this bird almost as much as I do and some of you know the reasons as to why she is often referred to as my daughter. Last night my Wiggle Bird died in a horrific and freak accident. No, I have no wish to discuss it. Please dont ask. I feel like a member of my family has died and I am completely and totally broken. Night Twiglet. Its been a blast.
