I am glad to see women doctors talking about this - as a society the West needs to look at how it is structuring itself and this recession is a great time to do it. Biologically having babies before 35 is the best plan - not every women can, should or wants to do this-but those who want families should think about it seriously and the current "career plus wait until you can afford it" does not make this easy. Perhaps a "life pattern" where younger women could choose to have families then go for advanced training to join the work force or something - one without a stigma, after all what is more important than providing a good foundation for the next generation?
