I am responsible for ordering stationery at my office. A colleague asked me to order a Single Hole Punch for use when compiling various documents with the use of a Treasury Tag. It then occurred to me that in asking for a Single Hole Punch I could have assumed the colleague in question wanted just one regular two hole punch and placed an incorrect order. To avoid future confusion, I have asked all colleagues to refer to a regular two hole punch as a Whole Punch and a single hole punch as a Half Punch. We dont have much use here for the four hole variety but to cover all bases, that will now be known as a Double Punch.
