I am sure that many parents whose children just got their KCPE exams results are now wondering what next for their children. I hope that your child did well enough to get acceptance of the high school of their choice. Congratulations. If not, then now is the time to give your child hope and to inspire them. Not doing well in primary school is not the end of the world. Kuteleza si kuanguka ! What is critical is that their education MUST continue by any means necessary. I have just returned from London and Riyadh. I met very many Kenyans in both cities who took time to come and meet me. Thank you all for your hospitality. My message to Kenyans abroad is that they must all take advantage of education opportunities abroad and study to improve themselves. If I can go back to school at my age and with my responsibilities then so can you. Dont lie to yourself that you are too busy ! Second, we must insist that our children growing up abroad whether in Arabia, London or UK and elsewhere must take advantage of the better schools there to do better than the generation of their parents. We expect every generation to be better than the previous generation. Study and make us all proud. I wish you all a happy new year and Gods blessing to you and your families in 2015.
