I atttended the school as a boarder in the early sixties. I think I was five or six at the time. Lovely place and gave me a sense of security while my mother dealt with a bruising divorce. I remember Suzy Wilkie (of Wilkie Circus family) was there at the same time. I am convinced I saw a real angel in the chapel...I was so little but the memory holds firm. There was a house on the grounds that we would stay over for weekends if our parents could not fetch us and I recall taking part in school plays. The PACT orchestra came to perform one day....each instrument was introduced and I was bored. THEN, they were all put together for a Strauss waltz and I was transfixed....studied ballet because of that experience and moved into the arts thanks to the teachers who encouraged my creativity. OH yes..one more thing...I recall being one of the youngest kids in the dorm and the nuns would allow us to listen to the radio before bed. Every time I hear Cliff Richards Bachelor Boy the memories surge back. xoxoxo
