I believe "Man of Steel" to be a fantastic re-birth of Superman. There was a very thin line Snyder had to balance himself. There was the case of the massive failure of having "too much story" in Superman Returns and on the opposite side of the spectrum too much action causing a lack of connection with the audience. I thought the story telling was short and sweet and the action up-to-date and extremely fun to watch. Superman has never been for the critics he has been for the crowd; and judging by the overwhelming positive praise I have heard Snyder accomplished his goal of introducing a modern and acceptable Superman capable of entertaining crowds for years to come. Solid 8 out of 10 for me.
