I cant wait til next week. I seriously feel like my entire universe - my work, my comics, my crowdfunding, my everything - is seriously all second fiddle to making sure Akuma isnt walking through shit or getting her paw stuck in her collar or figuring out a new way of escaping or finding out why shes meowing or reading about her cancer or making sure Uatu doesnt feel completely unloved or checking to see if its medicine time or ... Next week at least half these things will go away, as shell have her staples removed and be collar free. Shell be able to roam without constant vigilance. But by the time I can sit and do work, all I want to do is not do work. Im just emotionally exhausted. All I can say is that Im happy this is happening in September, a month that I generally despise anyway, so it is at least helping me obfuscate how personally and emotionally uncomfortable I am this time of year anyway. I think its time to get back to running again. After 3-5 miles you gain the inability to move and you tend to not focus on the bad.. or the good.. or anything really.
