I consider myself to be extremely fortunate that each day I am able to use fascinating neuroscience to embody my belief that pain can and does change. Over the past 10 years the pain knowledge base has increased dramatically, and continues to do so at a rapid rate. It is a privilege to be able to apply this knowledge in the clinic and elsewhere, to inspire patients with on-going pain to believe that things can be very different if they create the right conditions in both thought and action. That is my job, to provide the knowledge and skills so that individuals can experience change, and then motivate and support them so that their route of wellbeing is sustained. specialistpainphysio
