I do not think it is fair. We are a family of four, yet we only have three cars. My hardship only gets worse because two of my cars are away with my daughters at far away colleges. When I am not traveling out of state for work, my wife is forced to drive me to the Metro Station, where I am forced to take public transportation to my downtown office. Again, this is not fair. I see other people driving to their work in their own car. They are doing what they want in comfort and in privacy. They sit on leather seats in a climate controlled luxury environment. I deserve that, too. Therefore, tomorrow I will begin the journey to better my life and take hold of what I deserve. It is only fair. I will travel to a local automobile dealership, ask to take a vehicle on a test drive and I will not return. I will be in the car, therefore, it will be mine. Many may ask if I fear being punished...I do not. I will explain to the authorities that I need the vehicle to better my life; I need the vehicle for the safety of my family---for when they are with me, I want them to be in a safe car. It would be horrible to force me and my family out of the vehicle and put us, especially my daughters, in danger. That is not justice. Some may scoff at my behavior but I know others, especially some in my beloved government, will agree with me. My message will spread! The media will soon take my story, they will understand and they will celebrate me. For I am not a criminal, I am just bettering my life. I am a human. I deserve this. It is fair. Others will follow my lead..and soon we will be strong. Together! We, as Undocumented Car Owners, will rise in numbers. We will be loud. We will be a force. We will be a voting block. Politicians will join us. Some of them will fear us. Some others will take advantage of us. And even others will pander to us. They may assume we are foolish---but we are not. In the end, society will give in and they will give us what we want! We will have our cars. Some may call this amnesty. Some will call it a pardoning of our crimes. However, it does not matter what it is called because in the end, we, the Undocumented Car Owners will win. Join me....
