I dont know anybodys view about the homeless, the forgotten, the stories that lead them on their path. I spend a lot of time at Delray Beach, first for the ocean and then one day I met three homeless people that have impacted and changed my life forever. It was around Thanksgiving, my heart a bit sullen, honestly feeling emotionally raw. Yes, we all have our days. I struck up a conversation with Jeffrey and Anthony, homeless. I offered them a few dollars, clutching my purse with mistrust. They refused the money. My heart was humbled. As I was leaving the beach, I met a homeless woman, who told me she had breast cancer, she couldnt be more than 19. I was speechless. I went with my gut instinct and tightly embraced her within my arms as if she was my own child, and wept what felt like eternity. I have frequently gone back and somehow have become friends with a few, one in particular, Anthony. He has given me the gift to see all the phases of my life simultaneously, from childhood to the present. He has taught me to live for now, and the meaning of happiness. I created a trilogy of short videos, inspired by my new found friends. Those who have literally nothing bestowed the meaning of life to me. I hope you enjoy them. Created from a labor of love and gratitude. I can only post one video at a time.
