I find it amazing that people complain that our charity event is not free to enter! :-O Even Fun Runs cost money to put on... especially when you have to order 350 glow in the dark medals (only available in the Far East), 350 glow sticks, £400 liability insurance, 350 snap on wristbands, lighting, torches for volunteers, hired radios for volunteers, hired start/finish funnel, 350 LED flashing running bottles, barrier tape, cones, staff wages and admin fee (for the visitor centre to remain open at night), 12 lanterns, signage etc... Thankfully weve managed to source some items and goody bags for free, thanks to our amazing sponsors who have donated items! If you can find a way of doing this for free and still making money for charity... please let me know! :-/
