I get home from the water park and Grandma and I had a big talk about me missing our 4th of July lunch today and holidays and how I need to be here atleast to have lunch or dinner with the family on holidays...When I told her I didnt even know there would be a lunch today...I could see the heartbreak in her face because we both knew why I wouldnt think there would be one. And it was like a knife in the heart when she said, Its gonna take me a while to handle all this. Papa always helped me get dinner together and do dishes and stuff, so its gonna take a while to get our family holidays back to normal. ...now I know why I decided to stay out all day in the first place. If its like this on Easter and 4th of July...I dont even wanna know what Thanksgiving and Christmas are gonna be like.. I love you Papa...I hope youre helping Mom with dinner up there. You two in the kitchen makes for one yummy meal. Until we meet again...
