I get numerous phone calls and emails daily about my apprentice program. Here are answers to the most frequent questions asked. Yes, my program is exclusive. Yes, Im selective about who is accepted because I want people who are serious about advancing their skills and willing to apply themselves. No, APPRENTICESHIPS ARE NOT PAID POSITIONS. Apprentices come to my facility to learn, not to work. Apprentices are not my employees. If you want to be paid to work for a professional trainer or to be a professional horse trainer yourself, you have to first acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to do so. Thats what you get by apprenticing with me. The knowledge and experience you need to either work for a professional horse trainer or to train and maintain your own horses at the professional level. How long is an apprenticeship? Thats up to each individual to decide based on their goals, area of focus, and available time. An apprenticeship is similar to horse training- consistency is key, patience is a virtue, and the longer you do it, the better youll be. My program, is without question, the most affordable, unique, informative, hands-on, one-of-a-kind opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience in the performance horse industry available today. Why-because I understand and appreciate what it means to start from the bottom and work my way up the ladder of success and to operate a reputable and profitable breeding/training facility and working ranch. You wont find another professional horse trainer with impeccable credentials and a reputation for performance, success, and integrity who will (1) provide horses to ride (horses bred and owned by me personally-NOT MY CLIENTS HORSES), (2) share valuable information and professional insider tips and techniques, (3) instruct daily, (4) provide living accommodations, and (5) offer sponsorships to those who qualify-ALL for a small monthly fee. An apprenticeship might be ideal for you IF: A. You recognize and fully understand what professional level means in the horse industry, B. You appreciate the value and benefits of being able to ride, train, and maintain horses at the professional level, C. You want to be employed as a professional horse trainer or, D. You want to be able to ride, train, and maintain YOUR OWN HORSES at the professional level, D. You are serious about advancing your riding skills, open-minded to trying new things, dedicated to learning, and willing to be a cooperative team member.
