I go to Cambria once or twice every season… To celebtate the harvest season they have the Scarecrow Festival...Every store/hotel/restaurant designs and makes a scarecrow...It is fantastic!!! During the month of December they have The Cambria Christmas Market. It is an outdoor market with local artisans..each “booth” is a mini house, like a German Christmas Mkt! Food/ hot chocolate/crafts/Santa/Magical light festival!! It is very festive, a winter wonderland! And it give artists/local vendors a chance to sell their goods. They also have a hospitality night the first Thursday in Dec. All the stores are decorated, stay open late and serve cider, cookies, wine/champagne…Its a lot of fun!! When I am up there I always ask myself “Why doesn’t Ojai do something like this?!” Wish we did! It is so quaint and cozy, really puts you in the holiday spirit!
