I had a situation presented to me this week that really hurt my heart and it filled my mind with doubt about myself. I had many options in handling the situation; none of which would have resolved anything, but most likely would have only added insult to injury. Therefore, rather than try and deal with it, as I humanly wanted to do, I turned it over to God. Satan is powerless without the works of humans. When we let our guard down he uses us as vessels to destroy the happy and literally steal the joy of others. John 10:10 says: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. After praying over the situation, I found myself singing the old song by Amy Grant, My Fathers Eyes and it hit me; here I was having a pity party all the while I have something bigger than life on my side, I have God! The song reminded me that He wants us to focus on our own reflection while He handles the battles! Today, my joy is full and my strength is renewed! #bewaresatan #myGodisBIG John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.
