I have a question and hope someone can help me out. I have a Carpenter Star that I just finished the top and would like to trim the lower corners at an angle and then add a thin boarder all the way around. My problem is I have never cut my corners before and not sure if I just cut from one corner to the other or do I need to leave a seam allowance to the cut corner. Do I add the side boarders, then the angled corners, and then top and bottom edge. Not sure what to do with this. Thank you for your help.
