I have always told my brothers and sisters, no matter how high you think you have gone. As far as education and financial status, you are not immune to racial discrimination or ignorance. My mother may god rest her soul, was the first black female insurance broker for john Hancock in canton ohio. She was in a meeting and a white woman who was just a secretary ask my mother to get coffee. My mother politely declined and to the young lady when you came in here you walked past an office that said Beth Smoot on it. That would be me,now I suggest you get me some coffee and bring donuts too!! Lol my mom was a soldier!
