I prayed hard to the Lord to give me another baby boy to take care of our eldest, Tony jr. just in case something happens to me early on in my life. My eldest was a special child, a very challenged one. I went to Our Lady of Manaog, Baclaran Church, Quiapo Church and prayed to the Black Nazarene. I made a pact with Him to give me a boy and I shall name him after His name Jesus Christ. On April 24, 1987 the Lord granted and answered my prayers. A bouncing baby boy of 9.2lbs. I named you Jesus Christopher. When you were being baptized, the old and Spanish priest upon hearing your name asked again,What is the childs name? I answered Jesus Christopher! Time has moved too fast and before I realized you are now 27 years old. What a blessing. Tony Boy is with the Lord now and you have our own life to live. I am proud of you for growing to be a responsible man, driven, God fearing and a pillar of strength to your younger brother. I may not have perfect children but I can say with head held up high, I have good children with good hearts. I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore but I am sure you can hold me in yours when my bones get brittle and my vision start to fade. I am thankful that you named your baby girl TONI which will remind you and Sonny of me long after I am gone. But right now, let me savor the bliss of having a beautiful grand daughter, a bundle of joy and happiness. The pleasure of having you and Sonny as my sons and the time we spend together bonding and even merely talking about anything and everything under the sun. You have a long, long way to go and I am sure that you will always be successful because you always have God in your heart, Papa and Sonny behind you, Ann and most specially Baby Toni by your side. I love you JC and even up to the last breath of my life I will always say how much I love you and your brother Sonny. Happy Birthday my son. Stay happy and be blessed by Gods graces.
