I read the book....cocktail-weine effect...and Blip page was easy to seen.... but then i analysed whats reallly happening to light rays coming from the page entering eyes when in photo-focus state... IS Photofocus step bogus...? author accepts that is will not come to conscious instantly. but is it relevant.....just flipping the pages.... When analysed optically.....While blipping....the words do not form an image on retina...but behind it.....which means a single word on paper will have multiple projections on retina....some on rods as well as some on cones...and will be overlapped by projections from other words. this case is exactly similar to hypermetropia..... in which a person while trying to see near objects tries to CONTRACT the eye-lens....but fails shortly...and the image is formed behind the lens....and the visual of book is BLURRED....he will also see BLIP page....You can confirm it from people who are FAR-SIGHTED. saying that PHOTOFOCUS sends inforrmation to non-conscious is like saying a hypermetropia can make sense of books lept close to his eyes without using glasses....which is not going to happen.... Un-conscious may do magic...but it first got to sense whats there...in photofocus state the images of words are blurred/overlapped...and this overlapping will be different depending upon how much far your focus was.....How the hell can mind make sense of it.....???...how can it enter unconscious when making sense is not possible.... Making sense out of these overlapped And the BLIP formed will be Bigger or smaller...depending upon how much we are BLIPPING......by which i mean how far are u looking away...while keeping book at about 18 inches away... I read and tried ....my conclusion was that core of this method ---PHOTOFOCUS is flawed....A focused mind can process ver fast...true...but first you goto get it info available to it....TRICK is FOCUS and INTEREST in the book....which will bring more PROCESSING power to task--reading...not Phootofocus The only reconcilliation i found was REPLACING PHOTOFOCUS altogether.. Other steps are relevant.....but they are nothing new.. PLEASE comment.... especially those who have visualised something RELEVANT from the TEXT during INCUBATION/ ACTIVATION after photoreading without having to go to Rapid read step. I am verge of rejecting photoreading .....for me it looks like-----be physically relaxed and be focused with a purpose abt how much u want to read----then SPEED read......thats all ands its still LESS relevant to SCIENCE subjects.
