I reflect a lot and I was just sitting here thinking how amazing 2014 has been. One of my greatest accomplishments to date was accepting who I truly am and embarking upon my conscious and spirituality journey. Since then, my life has transformed and things that Ive dreamed of doing and thoughts/ideas I have had, Ive actually put the work in and currently watching them manifest and it is just magnificent. Its been 255 days since I kicked my cigarette habit. Although I am under my target weight, I no longer consume baby fat. I started my own community service group Caring with Helping Hands. I am working on my own Sparkle and Glitter Party Service. I am working on creating an African themed ball in Columbus GA in 2015 Usiku Africa. I will be embarking upon a theatre assignment with a friend to bring about change when it comes to racial disparity. I am being a voice for my race as a black activist and black conscious sister. I am a member of 2 grassroot movements called Ebony Moms on the Move (E.M.O.M) and Organization of All Afrikan Unity (O.A.A.U) I am so proud of myself. Ive organized movie events at the Public Library to provide African Americans with Hidden knowledge (Hidden Colors). I have created a demo album that will be complete next Sunday and will begin the mastering phase. Ive begun networking with an awesome group of people that allow me to express myself and accept me for me. Ive begun learning Swahili and teaching my kids. And the list continues....I am my biggest critic and I normally concentrate on my faults and flaws but today, I celebrate myself for always remaining STRONG, DETERMINED, PASSIONATE, PERSISTENT, BELIEVING IN MYSELF, AND REGARDLESS OF WHAT MONKEY WRENCH LIFE THROWS AT ME OR IF I FALL, I ALWAYS ALWAYS dust myself OFF and STAND BACK UP TALLER AND STRONGER THAN EVER. And I am seeking to do BIGGER AND GREATER things in 2015. Pouring me a glass of merlot to celebrate. #accomplishments
