I remember back in Marine Corps boot camp when we had the gas - TopicsExpress

I remember back in Marine Corps boot camp when we had the gas chamber, for gas mask training. You go into a tear gas filled, and I mean FILLED, room with gas mask on, take it off, cough and hack for about 30 seconds, which feels more like half an hour, then you put your mask on again. Then they let you out of the hut and you scramble the hell out of the place. They told us to run and wave out arms up and down, because that helped pump air in and out of your lungs. It definitely made a difference. So I assume that the whole idea behind this is that by waving your arms up and down you ventilate your system more efficiently. I get it. But its still REALLLLY weird and creepy. Sorry, lady. And please, next time some looser pants? Please???
