I think this is important. My message is to fathers...if you build up your daughters self-esteem by telling her she is smart, beautiful, and strong enough to stand on her own feet, she wont fall in love with the first...guy... that flirts with her! Be a major part of her life, dont stand on the sidelines or abandon her. Dont let your daughters go through this heartbreak and humiliation by constantly demeaning them and making them feel sub-standard! Raise her to expect better. Build your daughter into a brick house and put a buunch of deadbolts on the door.
