I think this is my favorite part of the holiday. Breakfast is over (homemade sage and ginger pork sausage, scrambled eggs with homemade brie, and my first ever butter-pecan cinnamon rolls), along with coffee and mimosas. David Squared (both of them!), Paul Cook-Giles, and I all opened our pressies, and Santa was really fantastic to everyone (and really spoiled me rotten!) Now, the boys are running around visiting people, and my hubby has settled in for a long winters nap. I, in the meantime, have some quiet time to myself before prepping items for a nice mid-afternoon Christmas dinner and then having company come over in the evening. I am so grateful for the life that I live, and the hubby who makes it so enjoyable. Merry Christmas, Blessed Yule, Happy Hannukah, Joyous Kwanza, and to the many other forms of wintery celebrations out there - felicitations!
