I was asked by Marcia Bloodworth Henry to use my favorite scripture in a post and explain a bit of why. I have many, many favorites. But heres how Im feeling today. Hagai 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. This is such a great scripture for those of us that were forced to start over later in life. Its one of my favorites. Its my hope....that my best days are ahead!! When we are victims of other peoples choices, no one can encourage quite like the word can. Hes saying that even though we had an amazing young life, possibly amassed wealth, power, success....our latter house is GREATER than the former.
