I was working at a bank in Missouri on 9-11-2001. There wasnt a tv and people were coming in, saying to turn on the radio. Within a couple hours, B-2 bombers were flying out of nearby Whiteman Air Force, in pairs and I remember my boyfriend at the time telling me that, Those bombers never take off in pairs. Sh*t is going down. I remember my mom telling me that my brother was on immediate stand-by to be deployed at a moments notice. I remember the aftermath of the devastation on the television and hearing on the radio the stories of phone calls from loved ones in those final moments in the World Trade Center. The stories that we still hear on this day, every year. Because, as a nation, WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
