I would like to talk about grace ..Under grace what does this mean ?? Lets look at the new testament and see .... 1 Corinthians 5:1-6 King James Version (KJV) 5 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his fathers wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? DELIVERED TO SATAN FOR A SEASON ..WOW THATS GRACE ..WELL IT MUST BE ... Acts 5:1-9 King James Version (KJV) 5 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? THEY WERE UNDER GRACE James 5:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Galatians 1:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE GRACE ..IT MUST CAUSE THATS WHAT WE ARE UNDER Hebrews 10:26-27 King James Version (KJV) 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Hebrews 10:28-31 King James Version (KJV) 28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. BELIEVERS WILL BE CONSUMED WITH THE ENEMIES OF GOD ..IS THIS GRACE ??IT MUST BE CAUSE IT IS WHAT WE ARE UNDER WHAT IS GRACE AND IT IS A HUGE QUESTION,SO LETS LOOKAT WHAT GRACE IS NOT ...... Jude 1:4 King James Version (KJV) 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. GRACE IS NOT TO CONTINUE IN SIN .... Romans 6:1-2 King James Version (KJV) 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? HE IS SAYING GO AND SIN-NO-MORE
