I would like to think that I have a pretty thick skin when it comes to TV. The "supply / Demand" atmosphere that prevails today with what passes for "News" makes me sad sometimes but I have acclimated to it as much as the next I suppose. But..... today I watched a 14min segment on the mall shootings in Kenya. 12 Mins on the psychological warning signs that were missed with the Washington Navy Yard shooter. 3 Mins about about some scum bag that murdered a store clerk for $72 bucks and a combined 15 Mins on various other Rapes, shootings and and the "New York Croquet club." Then..... with absolutely no Pomp or circumstance.... I was informed that 3 US Soldiers were Killed this Morning in Afghanistan. Shot by Afghan soldiers who turned on our troops and killed them. The report was 15 seconds long. No tribute.... no pictures of our guys..... no commentary or explanations. They just moved right into this years most anticipated hollywood movies. That....... actually brought a tear to my eye. I could not be more disappointed. I am officially sick to my stomach.
