I write this as a concern for all of us gamers. This isnt a rant, just some information that we can all relate to. Not a rant I promise lol :). So were all gamers right? We love the aspect of gaming and exploring these vasts worlds and appreciating what is given us. Additionally, we all know who Felicia Day is right? Well i want to bring up a serious topic for once. Anyone heard of the whole gamergate thing going on? Well unfortunately, Felicia Day wanted to speak up about it. What she wrote was an innocent concern and guess what? She was attacked online today and got her personal information exposed :(. I highly suggest that we should research this topic more. Most gamers are now being branded as negative terms due to these past situations. Women in gaming have been getting death threats, rape threats, etc. For those of you who are aware (and hopefully dont bash on me lol), we all know how this gamergate thing started. The most delicate scenario is the Anita Sarkeesian case. For those of you who know who she is, I will say this; while I do not agree with most of her bias research, no one and yes i stress NO ONE should be treated as she was. Death threats, rape threats, bomb threats are not the answer to a bias or un-bias research. Now I can keep typing but instead I want to show you guys what Felicia Day aka our Tallis wrote :(.
