ITS BUSINESS, BUB Walmart had a great sale on Red mulch this week. $2 per bag. I need a lot to fill in my bedding areas so I went to WM to get what I could. This stuff usally goes quick, particularly at this price. When I got there only 20 bags were left so I purchased all of them. While I was loading them on a trolley a fellow comes rushing in and was disappointed to find the supply was sold out (thanks to me). He was upset and complaining to me that he needed 8 bags to finish his landscaping project. He asked if I would be willing to sell him 8 of my 20 bags. I said, Sure. You can have 8 bags for $5 per bag. He went ballistic. He said that is highway robbery, I was taking advantage of him, and that I was a Republican capitalist! That last one really hurt! I said this is simply an issue of supply and demand. If he wanted the 8 bags it would cost him $40. He gave me two $20 bills and loaded them up and left...with a bad attitude. I yelled out, Nothing personal. Its just BusIness, Bub. Was I wrong?
