If anyone has never done this, you should try it! I promise you, it will make you more happy and relieve stress. Sit somewhere comfortably and empty your mind of all thought. The best way (for myself at least) to go about this is to focus on your thoughts one at a time, recognize each individually and dismiss it, mentally sorting it as irrelevant, important, or for later. Eventually there will be no more thoughts, and. I find this gets easier with time, so be patient. Then focus on your body and become aware of the position you are sitting. Any place your body is touching something, focus on that sensation. Let the focus build and grow from that point until you are aware of your whole body. I promise you, it works!
