If someone comes to your house, walks right in, goes to you takes - TopicsExpress

If someone comes to your house, walks right in, goes to you takes your wallet out of your pocket, grabs $40, walks out, what would you say about that person? Would you be offended? The level of offense has to do with the intimacy of the relationship between those two people and the predetermined agreements between the two. If that person were your trusted life-long spouse, then they not only have the legal right to grab some money, but your heart is glad to give them everything you have. How much more if you had said to that person "Everything in my wallet is yours, you can come grab whatever money you want whenever you want"? The relationship God wants with you is even closer to you than a spouse, and in that relationship He says, all you need do is ask, and it will be given. All you need to do is seek and you will find. All you need to do is knock and the door will be opened. The closeness, the oneness of a marriage relationship means that everything is common between the husband and wife. Food is shared. Money is shared. Experiences are shared. Life is shared. How much more does God want that you be in that type of intimate relationship with Him, such that you share everything you have, everything you are, everything you know, with Him. And so too He shares everything with us.
