If youre like me and looking into using hexes for a modular game - TopicsExpress

If youre like me and looking into using hexes for a modular game board, like Catan or Takenoko, but not keen on cutting up heaps of paper in to hex shapes, nor ordering heaps of cardboard hexes online just for a rudimentary prototype, then this may interest you! I was visiting my local Spotlight store on a whim for basic tokens and bits and bobs and found these paper hex shapes in the sewing section. Theyre designed for sewing shapes and things, but I think theyre perfect for prototyping board games! You get 100 in a pack and theyre about $4-5 a pack. Theyre also not a very thick paper, Id say between 60 and 80 gsm, but you could glue some together if you really needed that extra thickness. If you dont have a Spotlight near you, you can possibly try other fabric craft stores near you.
