Im a productive disabled person. I can barely live in Santa Cruz - TopicsExpress

Im a productive disabled person. I can barely live in Santa Cruz on SSDI payments of about $1700/month — thats insurance not welfare which local anti-homeless bigots who hate my GuerillaGorilla Advocacy, Inc. for (disabled) veterans and homeless people claim, calling me a welfare parasite — but I cant afford to live in Silicon Valley where I would prefer due to its adjacency to Stanford University, venture capital, information entrepreneurs as well as its diverse population from Europe, India, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Silicon Valley unemployed, working poor, elderly and disabled people are made homeless. There is so much financial speculation in housing there that only wealthy professionals can even afford to rent an apartment. This is the ugly face of high-tech gentrification. Hi-tech companies are squatting on vast assets while skirting taxes yet they are doing nothing to mitigate their effect on the community for the most vulnerable.
