Im thankful that as a pastor, my schedule is somewhat flexible. Turning onto the road leading to our church, I noticed a lady stranded on the side of the road, with the hood of her car up. Numerous cars were pulling out of the driveway of a nearby gas station, not giving a second look, or bothering to stop. I drove past as I was lost in thought about something else, but God spoke to me and said, Umm...excuse me, Mr. Pastor dude...are you going to be just like those other people and drive on by? My response, Oh...no, God, I was just looking for a place to turn around. (Because at this point I was!f) Although, Im pretty sure God knew it was because He had to prompt me. So, believe it or not, as mechanically challenged as I am, and having to call Robert Gibbons (Thanks Rob!) I was able to help her get home after an overnight shift at work. Her name is Lacretia (Im really not sure how to spell that). Please pray for her and that God would touch her life. So many blessings are right in front of us, but many times we are too busy to notice. Im thankful God put on the brakes so I could meet and help this nice lady.
